This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how GKDeals ("GKDeals", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects information in connection with the website located at gkdeals.com and any related pages, features, content and services we operate (collectively, the "Site"). It also explains the privacy rights and choices available to you.

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please discontinue use of the Site. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Affiliate Disclosure.

1. Who is responsible for your data

GKDeals is the controller responsible for the personal information processed through the Site, except where the Site links to third-party services (such as merchants, affiliate networks or booking partners), which act as independent controllers of any information you provide to them directly. 2.1 Information you provide to us

• Account information — such as your name, email address and password (stored in hashed form) when you register.
• Newsletter and marketing — your email address when you subscribe to deal alerts or newsletters.
• Communications — the name, email address, message content and any other information you include when you contact us, request support or respond to surveys.
• Saved items and preferences — deals, guides or comparisons you choose to save while using the Site.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, the pages and links you view or click, timestamps, and other diagnostic and usage data. These fall into broad categories: strictly necessary, functional, analytics/performance and marketing. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and, where offered, through our cookie preferences tool. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality. Because there is no universal standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not currently respond to them, but we honor recognized opt-out preference signals where legally required.

Submit a request through our Contact page or email privacy@gkdeals.com. We will verify your identity before acting and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. There is no charge for reasonable requests.

11. Marketing choices

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any message or by contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional or service-related messages (for example, security notices or responses to your enquiries).

12. Children's privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
